The Big Map of Things to Do with Kids in Chicago’s Suburbs

One of my favorite things about working on Kidlist is getting to create things I’ve always wanted. A map of things to do with kids near here? Yup, that’s been on my wish-list for a while. (Annie’s donut trail was another dream come true.) I finally got to sit down and create the kid-friendly map of my dreams — and I’m so excited to share it with you.

Wherever you are in Chicago’s west suburbs, you can check out this map to find some notable kid-friendly spots nearby. It’s not exhaustive, but should be a great starting point. Happy exploring!

Places to Go and Things to Do with Kids in Chicago’s Suburbs

This map features local zoos, nature playgrounds, indoor playgrounds, trampoline parks and inflatables, children’s museums, arcades/game rooms/laser tag spots, rock climbing spots, and amusement parks and centers.

Are there more things to do in Chicagoland than we’ve put on this map? Of course! Our whole site is full of them. But these places are a great starting point if you’re wondering what is there do to around here? while you’re out and about — or looking to discover new fun close to home.

If we missed a spot you think should be on the map, or if there’s a category you think would be helpful, please let us know in the comments. We always love hearing from you all.
