Splash Pads and Spray Parks in the Western Suburbs

If you’re looking to cool off this summer, check out our extensive guide to the local splash pads and spray parks in the Western suburbs! Most splash pads and spray parks are opening Memorial Day weekend, with exceptions noted in the comments under each. We have all the best spots to go, all in one list! Opening dates and descriptions are included for each. This post sponsored by Glen Ellyn Park District.

Enjoy a spritz of fun this summer at the Splash Park located within Maryknoll Park in Glen Ellyn! Kids can get soaked by standing underneath the water tower and three different bell-shaped dunkers, attempt to navigate all the way through the water tunnel, or douse their buddies using two spray cannons. Featuring 12 interactive spray pieces, the Splash Park is inexpensive family fun at just $3 per child (ages 1-14). Non-resident adult admission is $1 per person; resident adults are admitted free with proof of residency. Plan to stick around for the day. In addition to the Splash Park, Maryknoll Park features an adventure playground (complete with a free 75’ zipline), Holes & Knolls Mini Golf Course, and a tot playground. Ice cream and other tasty bites are available in the Maryknoll Café. Address: 845 Pershing Avenue, Glen Ellyn. For hours, visit www.gepark.org/splash.
