Splash Pads and Spray Parks in the Western Suburbs

The reason this Kidlist Mom loves splash pads is that my little kids are able to be more independent than at a pool. (It’s also a bonus that I don’t have to put on my bathing suit or bring life jackets!) Most splash pads and spray parks are opening Memorial Day weekend, with exceptions noted in the comments under each. We have all the best splash pads and spray parks to make your summer a cool one!

This splash pad guide is sponsored by Glen Ellyn Park District and the featured listings.

Enjoy a spritz of fun this summer at the Splash Park located within Maryknoll Park in Glen Ellyn! Kids can get soaked by standing underneath the water tower and three different bell-shaped dunkers, attempt to navigate all the way through the water tunnel, or douse their buddies using two spray cannons. Featuring 12 interactive spray pieces, the Splash Park is inexpensive family fun with admission at just $3 per child (ages 1-14) and $1 per adult. New this season, the Glen Ellyn Park District will be offering three Early Riser Splash events (June 18, July 29, and August 29) and two Late Night Splash dates (May 31 and August 14). Leave the snacks at home and pick up tasty bites in the Maryknoll Café, including kid-favorites like pretzels, hot dogs, and ice cream. Address: 845 Pershing Avenue, Glen Ellyn.
