Pinball Expo is the brain child of Rob Berk who grew up playing pinball. His dream was to recognize his heroes – the pinball designers and artists that created the games he loved. With the help of Bill Kurtz and Mike Pacak, Pinball Expo became a reality taking place in Chicago, the home of pinball. Nature and Science at Wonder Works: Rocks for Play and Learning

We will have lots of rocks at Wonder Works today, including big rocks to touch, smaller rocks to sort, and tiny rocks to sift from the sandbox. You also can load our O-scale train cars with rocks and collect rocks hauled by real freight trains. The play dough table will be set up as a quarry, where diggers and dump trucks excavate rocks and crystals and wooden trans haul them all away.
