Spot It! Alphabet
Spot It! Basic English
There are many versions of Spot It, but we have the two above (one for ages 3 and up, one for ages 6 and up). This is seriously a fun game, easy to play for any age, and even a good time for adults too. There are several ways to play with the cards, but we have been placing two cards down and the first person to identify the match takes the pair. The player with the most cards at the end wins. It’s crazy because sometimes the match jumps out at someone fast and sometimes everyone stares at the cards for a while before figuring it out. I don’t have to pretend to let the kids win either, it’s challenging for everyone which makes it more fun.
These swimming penguins have little propellers that enable them to dip and dive in the water. My kids have absolutely love playing with them in the bath. I found them at the end of the season last year at Walmart and they have been playing with them ever since, but saw them on Amazon as well.
Don’t underestimate old fashioned paper dolls. My daughter found an old book full of paper dolls in her bookcase and we have been cutting them out and changing their outfits for days!

Jesus Calling For Kids
This books has daily messages from the Bible that are applicable and understandable for kids. It’s great because it gives a short paragraph of one of God’s truths from His point of view for every day of the year and also gives a verse along with it. It only takes a few minutes to read and it just makes you feel so uplifted and loved. By the way, I have the adult version of Jesus Calling and highly recommend it. I keep it in my nightstand and read it first thing when I wake up. I love it, you should check it out.
Kid Sized Gardening Gloves and Tools
My kids got so excited about gardening when I got them their own tools and gloves. It makes them feel special and more willing to help with the yard work!
