With parades, Irish dancing, arts and crafts, and hunting for gold, the fun isn’t limited to March 17th. Join in the fun as the parade features floats, marching bands, Irish dancers, and visits from your favorite local sports mascots.

St. Patrick’s Day Parade (Forest Park)
March 7, 2020 | 1:00 – 2:30 pm
Come down to Madison Street for marching bands, bag pipes, Irish dancers, and St. Patrick’s Day shenanigans.

Countryside St. Patrick’s Day Parade (Countryside)
March 7, 2020 | 1:00 pm
Celebrate all things Irish at the 4th annual Countryside Parade. The fun kicks off at 1:00 pm.

St. Paddys Day 5k and St. Patricks Day Parade (Naperville)
March 14, 2020 | 8:00 am & 10:00 am
The Rotary Club of Naperville hosts a 5K beginning at 8:00 am. Afterwards, stay for the 2020 West Suburban Irish St. Patrick’s Day Parade, which will begin at 10:00 am.

Gold Coin Hunt (Burr Ridge)

Meet at Walker Park to collect lucky gold coins, then join the fun inside with refreshments and crafts.

Clover Hunt (Bensenville)

The city is a festive place to be for St. Patrick’s Day with parades and the famous dyeing of the Chicago River. Don’t miss this annual St. Patrick’s Day event filled with bagpipes and Irish dancing as it moves down Western Avenue.

St. Patrick’s Day Northwest Side Irish Parade
March 15, 2020 | Parade begins at 12:00 pm
This parade may be lesser-known, but it’s definitely not less festive — though it is less crowded! You’ll see lots of local schools and businesses participating, as well as dancers and musicians.
