You are invited to our third annual volunteer event! Join us on the afternoon of Sunday, March 20, 2022 at The Village Club of Western Springs to decorate, pack, and donate bags to foster children. We are excited to offer this opportunity to give back, especially because your kids can be involved. It’s doable for all ages, hands on, and impacts local kids! It’s wonderful to be able to partner with our site sponsor, Corsalus Financial to provide this way to volunteer with your kids.
All of the decorated and packed duffle bags you put together will be donated to All Our Children’s Advocacy Center in Justice, who will be passing them out to kids in tough situations around Chicagoland, such as kids that need support while being relocated for their own safety. You can read more about their work here.
Can’t wait to see you there and help make a difference together! Keep reading for the event details and how to reserve your spots.

Kidlist Volunteer Event
March 20, 2022 | 2-3pm or 3-4pm
The Village Club of Western Springs
4221 Lawn Avenue
Western Springs, IL 60558
A huge thanks to The Village Club of Western Springs for letting us use their space for this event. We appreciate their support in being able to provide for local kids in need! We are looking forward to volunteering together again at this in-person event.
You have two shifts to choose from and each spot you reserve includes everything you need to decorate, pack, and donate. All Our Children’s Advocacy Center expressed the kids’ need for their own hygiene kits in addition to a blanket, so each bag will include a fleece blanket, toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo + conditioner, and luggage tag with a zippered pouch to keep it all together in the duffle bag. Since we sourced everything ourselves to tailor the contents of the bag for what the kids really need, we are able to bring the kit price down to $20!
You are welcome to park in the Grand Avenue Community Center parking lot across the street and there is also plenty of street parking.
Corsalus Financial is providing the decorating materials, as well as paying for shipping of the materials and credit card processing fees so you will not have any added costs. We are excited about partnering with them for this event and love their desire to serve and be a valuable resource for local families!
Reserve Your Spots
Simply click or tap on the blue button below and it will take you through the ordering process. Each person attending the event (adults and children) will need a general admission ticket, which includes a kit to decorate and donate. There is limited space and kits available and we had an overwhelming response last year, so don’t wait to reserve your spots!

*I know I’m late but I am a classroom teacher and my class would like to do two bags. Was wondering if by any chance you ordered two extra? Thanks,
Bethany
Thanks for your interest! I had to put the order in by the end of the day on Monday, January 25 to make sure the materials arrive in time for pickup. Sorry you missed it this time!
