UFC GYM Naperville Offers Youth Classes

Classes and Camps for Kids

UFC GYM Naperville believes in kids having fun, being challenged, and most of all increasing their confidence!

Their goal is to create a courageous and health conscious younger generation through functional fitness and martial arts training. We combine coordination, agility, speed, strength and technique drills that deliver athletic skills that can be applied to team and individual sports, as well as important everyday life skills.

Youth programs include Daily Ultimate Training, Wrestling, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Boxing, Kickboxing, and Muay Thai all led by experienced, qualified youth and family fitness instructors for ages 4 and up, of all physical levels. Daily Ultimate Training
Ages: 4 to 12 years old
Youth DUT is UFC GYM’s signature boot camp tailored for kids. Classes focus on dynamic full body movements that help build coordination, athletic ability and confidence in a safe environment. Classes vary ensuring each one is fun, competitive, engaging and challenging to the end. Coaches will take the kids through speed, agility, quickness, core strength, body weight and circuit drills using a combination of equipment, such as: battle ropes, jump ropes, plyo boxes, kettle bells, exercise straps, medicine balls, free weights, RIP trainer, TRX straps, and slam bags.

Wrestling
Ages: 4 to 12 years old
Youth Wrestling class teaches the basic grappling movements of the first olypmic sport. This class includes takedowns and using the upper and lower body with exercises and drills designed to create the complete wrestler.

Brazilian Jiu Jitsu
Ages: 4 to 15 years old
Students will learn that there is a time and a place for martial arts training. The program integrates; self-defense techniques, conditioning and skill oriented games aiming to improve your child’s motor skills, agility and flexibility. Youth BJJ is a fun class for youth that teaches discipline and helps build confidence. Youth BJJ No Gi classes are less technical and offer a faster and more dynamic style of fighting. Students do not qualify for belt or stripe ranks in the Youth BJJ No Gi program.

Boxing
Ages: 4 to 12 years old
Youth Boxing class teaches basic boxing skills and techniques such as; stance, guard, movement, jab, cross, hook. It increases strength and improves endurance. Youth Boxing class will include cardio calisthenics, shadow boxing, bag work, partner drills, pad work and core strengthening exercises. These skills will give kids self-defense tools as well as self-confidence while keeping them physically fit. The 150 lb. heavy bags are the primary focus of the class.

Kickboxing
Ages: 4 to 12 years old
Youth Kickboxing class teaches basic Kickboxing, Muay Thai, and western-Style Boxing skills and combinations. Youth Kickboxing classes include: cardio calisthenics, bag work, which includes punch, kick, and elbow strikes, partner drills, and pad work in addition to core strengtening exercises.

Muay Thai
Ages: 4 to 12 years old
Youth Muay Thai class covers the ancient art of 8 limbs. This class includes may Thai leg kicks, knees, elbows and clinching.
