Craft from Hodgkins Public Library

Head over to the gazebo for craft time! The library will have various crafts for your kids to choose from while they enjoy the shade.

Overall Details

The Park Playdate is on Tuesday, August 9 from 3-4:30pm, but you are of course welcome to come early and stay later. Please note that this is not a drop-off event. We want to bring people together to make friends and have your kids play with parent/caregiver supervision.

Our park playdates will not have rain dates, so in case of inclement weather, individual playdates will be cancelled. If that happens, this article will be updated with “Cancelled” in the title, and we will post updates on Facebook and Instagram as well.

Parking

There is a parking lot for Soehrman Park with parking spots on the left and basketball courts on the right, but you can park on both sides for this event. There is also street parking on Hillsdale Road, which is on the west side of the park, accessible to the north. So if you enter the parking lot and can’t find a spot, turn left and make another left onto Hillsdale. Please adhere to any no parking signs, but you should be able to find a space to park on that street.

Bathrooms

There is a permanent building with restrooms facing the parking lot.
