Family Game Night
Whether your family prefers board games, card games, or anything in between; there is something everyone will enjoy! Caregiver participation is required. Games vary from session to session. Limit 50 participants. No registration is required. Participants will be admitted on a first-come, first-served basis.

Help children build confidence in reading by reading aloud to a certified therapy dog in a non-judgmental, supportive environment. This animal-assisted reading program is presented in partnership with PAWSitive Therapy Troupe. Grades K-5 No registration is required but limited to 12 child readers. Readers should pick up a ticket at the Children's Services Desk starting at 5 p.m. for a time slot to read to a therapy dog.

Pokémon trainers of all ages can CHAR-meander over to the Library for a storytime, themed crafts, scavenger hunt, trivia challenge, and more! Trainers can even learn how to play the Pokémon Trading Card Game and prove that they’ve got what it takes to become the very best (like no one ever was...). Please check back for individual program times as the event gets closer. We hope to see MEW there!

A family friendly mini concert presented by DuPage Symphony Orchestra featuring the Woodwind Quintet. A question-and-answer session will follow the performance. Attendees will be entered into a drawing for tickets to the May 13 concert "Symphonic Song" at Wentz Concert Hall, featuring Grammy-winning soprano Sarah Brailey.

Join the Barefoot Hawaiian Dance Troupe for an exciting night of Pacific Island culture and dance. Dancers will teach and perform a variety of Polynesian, Hawaiian, and Tahitian dances as well as the specialty dances of neighboring islands. All ages.
