My family and I had the opportunity to get a sneak peek of Little Legends, a new indoor play place and cafรฉ located in Darien. We also had the pleasure of meeting the owner Darko, who kindly gave us a tour and all the details about this fun new spot for kids ages 0-7. Darko has two toddlers of his own and I could tell how excited he was to be able to create a space like this for children to have fun.
While kids enjoy the indoor playground, imaginative play areas, and ride-on toys, adults can sit at one of their comfortable tables nearby, enjoying a latte or a tea from their little cafe. My boys, ages 3 and 6, had a wonderful time and immediately asked me when we could come back! I can also vouch for the coffee, because my latte was delicious.
Features of Little Legends
The Little Legends play area is a shoe-free zone, so make sure you wear or bring socks. There are benches with cubbies and coat hooks near the entrance for your convenience.
Youโll find a large climbing structure, trampoline, caterpillar for crawling and climbing, ride-on toys including mini rollercoasters and dinosaur bikes, as well as pretend play areas including a kitchen and grocery shop.
Beyond this area, you will find more interactive toys including a train table, a pop shot basketball game, and a soft baby and toddler area with age-appropriate toys.
Food
Outside food and beverages are allowed, or you can buy kid-friendly snacks at the counter including chips, juice, soda and water. Adults can enjoy various kinds of coffee or tea and you can take your snacks to any of the cafe tables situated next to the play area so your kids will always be within eyesight. Hooray for the chance to actually sit down and drink your coffee!
Bathrooms
There are men and women’s bathrooms near the back of the space, both equipped with changing tables.
Hours and Location
Little Legends is located at 7516 S Cass Ave #26-29, Darien, IL 60561, right next to the Brookhaven grocery store. It is open Monday-Thursday from 9am-7pm and Friday-Sunday 9am-8pm. There currently isn’t a sign on the building, but look for the corner space on the far left near Brookhaven.
Prices for Little Legends
Admission to the play area is $16 for the first child and $14 per additional sibling. A membership option is also available.

Little Legends is recommended for ages 0-7 years old.
Good to Know
If you want to extend your outing and make this a combo trip, the beloved toddler playground, Darien Community Park, is just a few miles away. There is also a Starbucks, Dunkin Donuts and Padrino’s Pizza on the same street as Little Legends if you are interested in lunch or additional snacks.
