The Magnificent Mile Lights Festival

FreeThe Wintrust Magnificent Mile Lights Festival returns for its 31st year to kick off the holiday season in Chicago! Join the conversation using #WintrustLightsFest! Grand Marshals Mickey Mouse & Minnie Mouse from Walt Disney World illuminate more than one million lights on 200+ trees along the route! The Lights Festival kicks-off with with free, family-friendly activities, beginning at Lights Festival Lane at Pioneer Court on Saturday, November 19 from 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Enjoy cheesecake from Eli’s Cheesecake Company, a holiday DJ, kids tattoos and more. And don’t miss your opportunity for a photo with Santa Claus courtesy of Wintrust!
The parade steps off on Saturday, November 19 at 5:30 p.m. at Oak Street & N. Michigan Avenue, traveling south on Michigan Avenue to Wacker Drive. The Lights Festival draws to a grand conclusion at 7:00 p.m. with The Wintrust Fireworks Spectacular over the Chicago River at Michigan Avenue and Wacker Drive.
Tune in to the a one-hour television broadcast of the Lights Festival parade on ABC 7 Chicago on Sunday, November 20 at 6:00 p.m. If you can’t watch then, there will be two additional broadcasts on December 10 and on December 24.
