Haunts Against Hunger Trick or Trunk and Food Drive

October 29, 2022, 11:00 am - 1:00 pm

Join us for a trunk or treat event! Local families and businesses are invited to reserve a table at our new park The Glen (located at 21W730 Butterfield Rd. Lombard IL.) to decorate with Halloween decor, and hand out pre-packaged candy to the trick or treaters as they stop by.

This is a safe alternative to trick or treating around your neighborhood. This event will be supervised by the Butterfield Park District. Parents are welcome to walk from table to table with thier children. Your mid morning will be packed with fun activities. We will have a live DJ playing games, and Halloween tunes will be on the playlist, and will have pumpkins for sale as well.

Don’t forget to dress up in your favorite costume and bring a non-perishable item for our Haunts Against Hunger Food Drive! All food collected will be distributed to a local food pantry just in time for the cooler months and holiday season.

Please register your child or children only. This is not a drop-off program. We require each family to participate in decorating their table and to pass out pre-packaged candy. Please bring your own pre-packaged candy with you to hand out.
