2018 Kid-Friendly Halloween Events in the Western Suburbs

We have rounded up family-friendly Halloween events in the western suburbs for you and your family to enjoy this boo-tiful Halloween season. October is full of fun activities including hayrides, pumpkins, movies, stories, treats, games, and more. Something’s brewing at Flying High!  Join us for 3 Halloween Events on Friday, October 26.  Those ages Kindergarten and younger are invited to our Little Monsters’ Halloween Bash from 10-11:30 and 1:30-3pm.  Enjoy open gym time, pumpkin decorating, and ghoulish games!  $8/child.  Ages 5 & up are invited to our Halloween Bash Pizza from 7-10pm.  Enjoy open gym time, pizza, lemonade, Flying Witch Zip Line, Mummy Relay, and more!  $15 if pre-registered online on or before Wed 10/24.  $20 after 10/24 or at the door.  Register for both events online at www.flyinghighgym.com.

Morton Arboretum Trick or Trees (Lisle)
Weekends in October | 11:00 am – 4:00 pm
Trick or Trees Halloween event includes games, crafts, and tree seeds to plant and take home. Included in park admission.

Brookfield’s Boo at the Zoo
Weekends October 13 – 28, 2018 | 10:00 am – 6:00 pm
Halloween events throughout the day: a costume parade, hayrides, crafts, pumpkin smashing, and giant pumpkin carving. Also, there are times each day the animals get pumpkins to eat and play with!

Morton Arboretum Family Jack o’ Lantern Hikes (Lisle)

Check the ages for the event time you choose because the stories are geared for those ages, as to not scare the younger crowd. Registration is through the Naperville Park District for this event.

Double feature movie night for the whole family! Bring a blanket for an outdoor movie experience!

Lombard Park District Fall Fest
