Third Friday Flicks
Where: Grass lot south of 173rd Street and Oak Park Avenue The Village of Tinley Park hosts Third Friday Flicks, a new series of interactive outdoor singalong movies in Downtown Tinley. The movies will begin at dusk and take place in the grass lot south of 173rd Street and Oak Park Avenue. Movies will include "Hairspray" on June 15, "Beauty and the Beast" on July 20, and "Annie" on Aug. 17. Snack vendor applications are now being accepted.

Downtown Tinley Block Party
Where: Along Oak Park Avenue from 171st to Hickory streets The Village's annual Block Party takes place the third Sunday in July along Oak Park Avenue from 171st to Hickory streets. The event features food and free family fun such as a bean bag tournament, rides and inflatables, KidZone activities, a classic car show, live music on two stages and more! The Parade of Lights will march north down Oak Park Avenue from 177th Street to the Subway parking lot. The parade includes festive floats, vehicles, local businesses, community groups and school bands displaying the spirit of the season. Downtown Tinley Cruise Nights
Come to Downtown Tinley Cruise Nights on Tuesdays during the summer in Downtown Tinley for a classic car show with no entry fee, food and beverages for sale and DJ music.
