500+ Restaurants with Outdoor Dining in the Western Suburbs

Restaurants are now open for outdoor dining, but not all restaurants can accommodate outside seating. We found it a little daunting to try to figure out our options, but wanted to take a break from cooking, get out of the house, and enjoy a meal together. That’s where this handy list comes in! Scroll to the town you are interested in and check out all of the restaurants to choose from. Many of these restaurants have reimagined their available outdoor space with the help of their town and/or chamber of commerce and have newly opened outdoor seating areas!

In Illinois, Phase 3 of re-opening allows restaurants to be open for outdoor dining. Restrictions in dining enforce that tables should be six feet away and groups are restricted to 6 people, or fewer. You can check out the guidelines from the Illinois Department of Public Health to help understand what restaurants will be doing for their customers.
