Finding time to fit in a date night can be tricky, and adding the task of finding reliable childcare can make things even more difficult. No need to worry: we’ve rounded up Parents Night Out programs for both you and your child to enjoy a night out.
These events are filled with games, food, crafts and other activities. While your child is off having fun while you can relax at a peaceful dinner date, enjoy an exciting outing with friends, or enjoy some good old-fashioned alone time. Sounds like a win-win!
Nearly all of these events require advance registration, so don’t delay in scheduling your night out.
Flying High Pizza Fun Night (Countryside)
First Friday of each month | 7:00pm – 10:00pm
Enjoy slices of pizza between rounds on the trampolines, balance beams, and foam pits. Advance registration, which costs $18, closes 2 days in advance. Register after that, or at the door for $22.
Tween Nights (Ackerman Sports Complex, Glen Ellyn)
March 15, 2024 | 6:00pm – 9:00pm
Kids ages 8-12 kick off the weekend with games, activities, and pizza at the Ackerman SFC. Register in advance through the park district. $30/resident, $35/non-resident.
Kids Night Out (Wheeling Park District)
March 15, 2024 | 6:30pm – 8:30pm
This month’s programming is celebrating St. Patrick’s Day fun with crafts, activities, and games. Registration includes pizza. $20 for residents, $25 for non-residents.
Pizza and PJs (Bolingbrook)
March 15 and April 5, 2024 | 5:30pm – 7:30pm
Themed nights including pizza for all. Children can wear PJs or regular clothes, must be potty trained. $25 for residents, $37 for non-residents.
Parents Night Out at the Stephen D. Persinger Recreation Center (Geneva)
March 15, April 5, 19, May 3, 17, 31, and June 14, 2024 | 6:00pm – 9:00pm
Crafts, games, movies, and more for ages 2-11. Advance registration through the park district required. $20/resident, $25/non-resident.
Kids Night Out (Fort Hill Activity Center, Naperville)
March 15, April 12, and May 17, 2024 | 6:00pm – 9:00pm
Themed kids nights out with games, activities, and more, including include dinner and juice for kids ages 4-12. Advance registration through the park district required. Price is $21/fitness member, $26/resident, $39/non-resident.
Parents Night Out (ARC Center, West Chicago)
March 15, April 19, and May 17, 2024 | 6:00pm – 9:00pm
Games, crafts, and activities, including free time to play in the ARC’s TreeTop Escape. Register in advance. $12/resident, $14/non-resident.
Kids Night Out (Tri-Town YMCA, Villa Park)
March 16, and April 20, 2024 | 5:00pm – 9:00pm
Activities, games, pizza, and plenty of fun at the St. Alexander Parish School. $0 for residents/$10 for non-residents. Dates are also announced for 2024.
Parents’ Night Out at Pavilion Aquatic Center (Elk Grove Village)
March 22, April 5 and 19, May 3 and 24, 2024 | 5:30pm – 8:30pm
Kids will swim, play games, and make a craft at this event for kids aged 5-12. $15/resident, $18/non-resident; register in advance through the park district.
Kidโs Night Out (Hoffman Estates)
March 23, 2024 | 6:00pm – 9:00pm
Your 7-12 year old child will enjoy a night of gaming in the ESports Zone. Registration is required, $15 for residents and $17 for non-residents.
Friday Night Out (Downers Grove)
April 12, 2024 | 4:30pm – 7:30pm
Meant for younger visitors, this program is similar to Wild Night Out. Games, campfire food, and crafts will fill your child’s night. $35 per child. Register in advance.
Dodgeball Night Out (Vaughn Athletic Center, Aurora)
April 19, 26 and May 20, 2024 | times vary
Variations like Swamp Ball and GAGA Ball mix things up at this one-hour, dodgeball-themed night out for kids ages 6-11. $10/child; register online through the park district.
Parents Night Out (Salt Creek Rural Park District, Palatine)
April 19, May 17, June 21, July 19, August 18, 2024 | 6:00pmย –ย 9:30pm
Register in advance for a these monthly, themed events. Snacks, crafts, activities and a movie will be offered. $15 per child, $10 per additional sibling.
Parents Night Out (Batavia)
April 20, 2024 | 6:00pm – 8:00pm
Enjoy pizza, play games, and have fun while your parents are out. $25 per child, register in advance.
Friday Fun Movie Nights (Park District of Forest Park)

Enjoy pizza and snacks during the movie showing. Register in advance. $13 per child.
Wild Night Out (Downers Grove)
April 27, 2024 | 5:00pm – 8:00pm
Enjoy campfire food, night hikes, and outdoor adventures. Register in advance, $35 per child.
Parents Night Out (Berwyn)
May 10, 2024 | 6:00pm – 9:00pm
Registration is required for this fun night out with the Berwyn Park District. $20/child.
