Finding time to fit in a date night can be tricky, and adding the task of finding reliable childcare can make things even more difficult. No need to worry: we’ve rounded up Parents Night Out and Kids Night Out programs for both you and your child to enjoy a night out.
These events are filled with games, food, crafts and other activities. While your child is off having fun while you can relax at a peaceful dinner date, enjoy an exciting outing with friends, or enjoy some good old-fashioned alone time. Sounds like a win-win!
Nearly all of these events require advance registration, so don’t delay in scheduling your night out.
Friday Night Out (Downers Grove)
October 25, and November 22, 2024 | 4:30pm – 7:30pm
Meant for younger visitors, this program is similar to Wild Night Out. Games, campfire food, and crafts will fill your child’s night. $35 per child. Register in advance.
Parents Night Out (Bloomingdale)
October 25 and November 15, 2024 | 5:30pm – 8:30pm
Kids will enjoy crafts, games, with pizza and dessert being served. Fee is $27 per resident child, $32 for non-residents. Register in advance.
Friday Fun Movie Nights (Park District of Forest Park)
October 25, November 8, December 6 and 20, 2024 | 6:15pm – 8:00pm
Family-friendly movies shown with food including pizza, popcorn, and drinks. Register in advance, $13 per child.
Kids Night Out (Fort Hill Activity Center, Naperville)
October 25, November 22, December 13, 2024 | 6:00pm – 9:00pm
Themed kids nights out with games, activities, and more, including include dinner and juice for kids ages 4-12. Advance registration through the park district required. Price is $21/fitness member, $26/resident, $39/non-resident.
Kids Night Out (Lisle)
October 25, November 22, December 13, 2024 | 5:00pm – 8:00pm
Run by the Gentle Learning Preschool staff, kids will participate in games, crafts, food, and more. $30 for residents, $45 for non-residents.
E-Sports: Kid’s Night Out (Hoffman Estates)
October 26, November 23, and December 14, 2024 | 6:00pm – 9:00pm
7-12 years olds will enjoy a nice of e-games. Register in advance. $17 per child.
Parents’ Night Out at Pavilion Aquatic Center (Elk Grove Village)
November 1 and 15, December 6 and 20, 2024 | 5:30pm – 8:30pm
Kids will play games, do crafts, and swim in the pool during this 3-hour event. $15 for residents, $18 for non-residents.
Flying High Pizza Fun Night (Countryside)
November 1, December 6, and January 3, 2024 | 7:00pm – 10:00pm
Enjoy slices of pizza between rounds on the trampolines, balance beams, and foam pits. Advance registration, which costs $18, closes 2 days in advance. Register after that, or at the door for $22.
Parents Night Out at the Stephen D. Persinger Recreation Center (Geneva)
November 8 and 22, December 13, 2024 | 6:00pm – 9:00pm
Crafts, games, movies, and more for ages 2-11. Advance registration through the park district required. $20/resident, $25/non-resident.
Wild Night Out (Downers Grove)
November 9, 2024 | 5:00pm – 8:00pm
Enjoy campfire food, night hikes, and outdoor adventures. Register in advance, $35 per child.
Parents Night Out (ARC Center, West Chicago)
November 15 and December 13, 2025, January 17 and February 21, 2025 | 6:00pm – 9:00pm
Games, crafts, and activities, including free time to play in the ARC’s TreeTop Escape. Register in advance. $15/resident, $18/non-resident.
Pizza and PJs (Bolingbrook)
November 15, December 6, 2024 | 5:30pm – 7:30pm
Themed nights including pizza for all. Children can wear PJs or regular clothes, must be potty trained. $25 for residents, $37 for non-residents.
Parents Night Out (Salt Creek Rural Park District, Palatine)
November 15, December 13, 2024 | 6:00pm – 9:30pm
Register in advance for a these monthly, themed events. Snacks, crafts, activities and a movie will be offered. $15 per child, $10 per additional sibling.
Parents Night Out (Berwyn)
November 15, and December 20, 2024 | 6:00pm – 9:00pm
Registration is required for this fun night out with the Berwyn Park District. $20/child.
Kids Night Out (Tri-Town YMCA, Villa Park)
November 16 and December 21, 2024, January 18, 2025 | 5:00pm – 9:00pm
Hosted at St. Alexander Parish School, participants will play games, make crafts, and enjoy a pizza dinner. Fee is $15/child.
Parents Night Out – Kids Fun Night (Oakbrook Terrace)
November 16, 2024 | 5:30pm – 8:30pm
Visit the Lake View Nature Center for nature activities, a hike, a pizza party, and more. Kids ages 4-13 years old are welcome, and should dress for the weather.
Milk and Cookies Art Party (North Berwyn Park District)
December 13, 2024 | 5:30pm – 8:00pm
Drop your kids off so they can create art masterpieces. Milk and cookies will be served. $20/resident, $25/non-resident.
Drop and Shop – Fun Day at the Park (Oakbrook Terrace)
December 14, 2024 | 9:30am – 11:30am
Register for a morning of nature-themed programming at Lake View Nature Center. $30 per child.
Santa’s Day Care (North Riverside)
December 14, 2024 | 4:00pm – 8:00pm
Kids will play games, eat pizza, and watch a movie. $15 per resident, $17 per non-resident.
Little Helpers Workshop (Cheney Mansion, Oak Park)
December 20, 2024 | 6:30pm – 8:00pm
Register your child for a festive night out. Residents $25, non-residents $30.
