Meet Pam Conlon, a Western Springs mother and grandmother, who has recently launched a new Children’s YouTube channel called, “Playtime with Lolly Gabbins.” As a former speech/language therapist, Pam created the channel to foster expressive language and socialized play in a fun filled format.
Lolly Gabbins is a nurturing grandmother, who “sees” her audience through her magic glasses at the beginning of every episode. Your littles will want to tune in to hear their name, as Lolly calls out her viewers and thanks them for coming to play.
Additionally, the program focuses on feelings and old fashioned values, like kindness and sharing. There are special guest stars, puppets, toys and other characters who come to play.
Lolly explores intimidating situations as well, and takes her viewers with her to the doctor, dentist, and out for a hair cut.
A warm and inviting show, “Playtime with Lolly Gabbins” releases new episodes every Wednesday and is geared for preschool kids ages 2-4. Give it a watch!
