Kid-Friendly Restaurants: Oak Brook, Oakbrook Terrace

Kid-Friendly Restaurants

The majority of kids are always up for burgers and fries, mac and cheese or pizza, but you don’t have to sacrifice your meal every time you go out to eat! I’ve been to some wonderful “grown-up restaurants” where I was surprised to find how kid friendly they were: coloring or activity books for the kids to enjoy while waiting for their food and kids menus if I didn’t see something on the regular menu that they would like. (I’m a big fan of exposing kids to many different types of food, but know that doesn’t always work!)

As I started looking into it I realized my family hasn’t even scratched the surface… there is an incredible amount of kid-friendly restaurants in the suburbs! So I decided to break the list up a bit and publish groups of towns at a time. I have listed the type of food served, if a kids menu is available and what activities they offer while waiting at the table. If you have any experiences to share, please comment below!
