An event every day that begins at 10:00 am, repeating until October 10, 2022
On October 8, 9, and 10, Wonder Works will host Tinker Works, a museum takeover event exploring using stuff to make stuff that does stuff. When children tinker, they are learning about the properties of materials and the capabilities of tools. Learning how to manipulate tools, understand the properties of materials, and identify unique solutions to problems is at the core of all making and engineering.
Tinker Works will feature:
- Fort Building,
- Box Work Creations,
- a Maker Space,
- Circuitry and Legos for big kids,
- Tinkering Activities for little ones,
- Building Challenges for big kids.
All attendees will go home with special items to keep tinkering at home. This STEM event will be a ticketed event where children of all ages can experiment and play as they learn.
