The Shortest Day Party

FreeLet’s welcome back the sun today on the winter solstice. Together we’ll enjoy music and a story, and we’ll hand-roll beeswax candles to cheerfully light the short days of winter. On December 21, we are at the point in earth’s journey around the sun where we see the least amount of sunlight, even though we’re closer to the sun in the winter than in the summer. After the winter solstice, the days will start getting longer! Please register your family using the name of the adult attending. This in-person program will be held in the Youth Program Room.
Programs run at 1:30pm and 5:15pm.
