The Science of Jurassic Park

Biologist and fossil enthusiast Donald Baumgartner, M.S., will separate the scientific facts from Hollywood fiction. What was true? What was wrong? What action scenes just didn’t make sense?The release of Jurassic Park 30 years ago grabbed the attention of adults and children alike, bringing dinosaurs into theaters and homes like nothing before. It sparked a renewed interest in dinosaurs and fossils. For more fun, re-watch your favorite Jurassic series movies before the program!

Actual dinosaur fossils will be available for purchase. Suitable for ages 10 and up.
