Read, Learn and Create

We invite children grades 2-3 to join us as we celebrate Black History Month! We will read and discuss the works of bestselling author Ibram X. Kendi and his adaptations of beloved African American folklorist Zora Neale Hurston. Then we will create a unique mixed media collage inspired by the vibrant and spirited artwork of Loveis Wise and Kah Yangni. Materials and snacks will be provided, simply bring your creativity and imagination!
