Pumpkin Recycling Event

The Village of Carol Stream is partnering with eWorks, SCARCE, Accurate Document Destruction, Flood Brothers Disposal, and DuPage County to host a Pumpkin, Textiles, Electronics Recycling and Shredding Event. This event is taking place on Saturday, November 4 at Ross Ferraro Town Center (960 N. Gary Ave.) from 8:00 a.m. to noon and is open to residents and non-residents.
By recycling pumpkins, you can help to reduce the methane released from landfills and return important nutrients to the soil. Please remove any decorative additions like wax, yarn, and googly eyes to make the pumpkins safe for composting.
