Poetry Reading

April 25, 2023, 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm

Join us and read a poem for an audience! Or just come to listen and enjoy. All ages are welcome, and no registration necessary.

In honor of National Poetry Month and in partnership with the West Branch of the Aurora Public Library, A-Town Poetics will host an open poetry reading on Tuesday, April 25 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Writers of all ages are welcome to join us and read their original work, or simply listen. Poems should be β€œfamily-friendly.” If you choose a poem in a language other than English, please bring an English translation to read as well. Call Karen Christensen at 630-421-2528 with questions. This event will replace the regular A-Town Poetics meeting in April.
