Mid-Autumn Festival

The Chinese Moon Festival, aka the Mid-Autumn Festival, is one of the most important events in the Chinese calendar and can be a great way to learn about Chinese culture. This annual event is organized by Roots & Routes partners to celebrate this tradition in a beautiful outdoor setting on the south lakefront.

Attendees can participate in a community prairie planting and bird displays, storytelling, Chinese folk dance and musical performances, lantern making and parade, tea, and mooncake sampling.

This event takes place at the Set in Stone Gathering Space 3155 South Lake Shore Drive Chicago, IL 60616.
