First Friday: Turn It Up

April 5, 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Free

Enjoy the live ‘Elvis & Cash Show’, explore an instrument petting zoo, and more! ¡Disfruta del ‘Elvis & Cash Show’ en vivo, explora un zoológico de instrumentos, y más!

Ever wondered what a concert would have been like that featured both Elvis and Johnny Cash?! The Elvis & Cash show is fondly called the “What If” concert- the merging of two shows! John Elvis Lyons recreates the music of Elvis’ concert years (also known as the Jumpsuit era). The voice, the moves, and the jumpsuits all come together in a show that will transport you back to the Elvis concerts of the 1970s! Jonathan portrays Cash with spot-on looks, voice, and mannerisms.

This show features both entertainers on stage at the same time and allows us to create a musical experience like no other! In addition, Peggy Lyons takes the part of June Carter, performing fan favorite duets including Jackson and Long-Legged Guitar Pickin’ Man.

Have YOU ever wanted to try playing the guitar or ukulele? Percussion? Fox Valley El Sistema will bring a variety of beginning string, woodwind, percussion, and brass instruments for you to try.
