Visit the farm for some old-fashioned fun and learn about the significance of agriculture in Will County — both past and present! Tour the limestone house and barns, meet some animals from the farmyard and beyond in the petting zoo, try your hand at some farmstead chores, play old-fashioned games and make a cornhusk doll to take home.
Visitors can also learn about modern agricultural practices from local agencies, organizations and businesses, and there will be live music as well.
Riverview Farmstead Preserve is the site of the Clow family farm from the mid-1800s, an important farm in the development of Wheatland Township. The farmstead is on the DuPage River and connects to bike and walking paths in the area.
