Easter Egg Hunt Open House

$5Cantignyโs annual Easter Egg Hunt returns! Stop by for some colorful family fun.

Hundreds of plastic eggs will be scattered across the McCormick Allรฉe for this colorful rain or shine event for all ages. The format is โopen house,โ so come at any time during the event hours. This is a free activity.
– Eggs will be available in the allรฉe throughout the day and replenished periodically.
– Bring your own basket or bag.
– Each child may redeem five (5) eggs for a prize. Take the eggs to the prize redemption area located near the Tank Park and restrooms. One prize per child.
– If your child collects more than five we suggest that you re-hide the surplus eggs for other families to enjoy.
– The eggs you find will be empty. Please do not open or smash them.
– Please return all eggs collected to the redemption area and do not take them home.

Take a photo with Mr. and Mrs. Bunny from 10 am โ 4 pm in the Visitors Center backyard. Please note, photos with Mrs. Bunny will be unavailable from 1 โ 1:30 pm and photos with Mr. Bunny will be unavailable from 1:30 โ 2 pm.

Create a springtime memory in the Medill Room (inside the Visitors Center). Color a ceramic โpuppy bank,โ while supplies last. $5 each. (cash only)

Tasty lunch items and drinks will be offered in the northwest corner of the McCormick Allรฉe. Enjoy hot dogs, brats, pulled pork sandwiches, jambon-beurre sandwiches, or three-bean chili. Chips and candy bars will also be available. Thirsty? Choose from a Bloody Mary and Mimosa bar, domestic and craft beer, wine, soft drinks, lemonade, or water.

Hop by Le Jardin (in the Visitors Center) before or after your egg hunt adventure for a buffet featuring brunch classics like waffles, scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, and breakfast potatoes. Weโll have lunch favorites, too, including Chicken Vesuvio, mac & cheese, garden salad, roasted potatoes, green beans, and assorted desserts. Brunch hours are 10 am to 2 pm.
