Children’s Book Launch Celebration – Storytime, Illustration Talk, and Garden Activities

Celebrate spring & the launch of the new children’s book: My Love for You Is Like a Garden by local children’s book author-illustrator Laura Smetana at Frugal Muse Books in Darien! The event will kick-off with a book reading & behind-the-scenes look at how Laura created the vibrant, cut-paper watercolor collages for the book (and the impact the June 2021 Father’s Day tornado in had on its creation), followed by an in-store nature scavenger hunt, garden-related activities, book signing, and more! Free & fun for the whole family—and everyone will get seeds to take home to start their very own flower garden!
