The Winfield Criterium & Summerfest
The Winfield Foundation will be hosting its 6th annual Criterium & Summerfest on July 19, 2026. Set in the heart of downtown Winfield, this year’s event will be a festival experience with food trucks, a beer trailer, a giant Kidz Zone, live dj, an artisan market, a family fun ride, and of course Chicago Grit racing!
Join us to watch, cheer, eat, play and shop. The Winfield Foundation is excited to host you, your families, friends and pets!
Gathering on the Green in Western Springs
Gathering on the Green returns to Tower Green in downtown Western Springs for an evening of live music, local food, family activities, and summer fun.
Festival favorites include pony rides, a petting zoo, balloon twisting, face painting, bounce houses, inflatable games, carnival rides, and activities for kids of all ages. Visitors can relax at the picnic tables, enjoy food from local vendors, and grab a drink from the beer, wine, and hard seltzer tent while live entertainment takes the stage throughout the evening.
This year’s music lineup features performances from local groups and bands that will keep the festival atmosphere going all night long.
Gathering on the Green is a longtime Western Springs tradition and a fun way to spend a summer evening with family, friends, and neighbors! Discounted tickets are available in advance before the event, with $5 off kids activity wristbands.
