Right outside the Hodgkins Park District building and across the street from the Hodgkins Public Library, Splash Harbor and Kubicki Park make a great park and splash pad combo! You can also stop at Menards and pick up some stuff so your kids can enjoy the moving walkway too.
Splash Harbor has been a favorite of ours for a very long time. It’s so affordable and fun!
Kubicki Park
The first thing you’ll notice at Kubicki Park is the gigantic slides!
There is also a climbing structure.
And a toddler playground section with four baby swings.
It’s perfect for before or after the splash pad and close enough that you can have different age kids enjoying the same space.
Splash Harbor Hodgkins Splash Pad
The big hit at this splash pad is definitely the slide. The kids slow down towards the end, but there is a mat at the bottom just in case. The water keeps it just slick enough to slide down, which is perfect for little ones.
There are also fountain sprays from the ground, water cannons, and dumping buckets.
A small pavilion with picnic tables is in the corner to provide shade and there are white lounge chairs spread throughout.
Parking
There is a small parking lot along the side of the park to the east.
Pricing and Hours
Splash Harbor is open Monday through Thursday from 12-6pm and Friday through Sunday from 10am-7pm, weather dependent.
Kubicki Park is free and Splash Harbor is $3 per person for a one day pass, which you can purchase at the gate with cash. If you would like to pay with credit card or buy a punch pass, you can head to the front desk at the Park District.
