Immersive Experiences

Jump in muddy puddles at Peppa Pig World of Play in Schaumburg’s Woodfield Mall! Peppa Pig World of Play transports you into the life of Peppa Pig and all her friends! Ride the bus with Miss Rabbit, sort packages on Mr. Zebra’s Post Van, or watch TV on Peppa’s couch. A visit to immersive Peppa Pig’s World of Play is perfect for preschool-aged kids to have fun as they explore one of today’s most popular kid’s shows.

Features of Peppa Pig World of Play

Peppa Pig World of Play brings the show to life. As you walk through the streets, you’ll see Grandpa Pig, Suzy Sheep and all your favorite Peppa characters. The detail that went into designing Peppa Pig World of Play is remarkable. We marveled at all the small things we noticed from episodes of this beloved show.

We loved listening to the voices and songs playing throughout the space. While there’s certainly plenty of space to play, there’s also a theater if you’d like to cozy up and watch some Peppa on a big screen.

While we loved climbing, running, sliding, biking, driving cars, and all the gross motor activities, Peppa Pig World of Play couldn’t leave out one of Peppa’s favorite activities: jumping in muddy puddles. The interactive mat lets your child control the characters on the screen as they all jump in muddy puddles together.

Shoes are not allowed anywhere in the play area and socks must be worn at all times.

I loved the variety of activities kids could do. Climbing, sliding, moving and sorting, pretend play. It was all there. The entire space is a good balance of being able to move things and be creative, but not to make a big mess for other kids to find. Creativity and fun were the focus when designing this play space. Our whole crew was exhausted after our visit. We can’t wait to go back.

A kids play place wouldn’t be complete without a gift shop. When you’re checking in or checking out, you’ll be within eyesight of the Gift Store. Be prepared to say yes or no after all the excitement of playing in Peppa Pig World of Play.

When checking in, you are given wristbands for each member of your party. When exiting the facility, an attendant checks wristbands again to make sure all children were safely leaving with their adults.

Food

Peppa Pig World of Play offers dining for guests with their Campervan CafΓ©. Pizza, mac and cheese, nachos, pretzel bites, various sides and drinks are all for sale. Items can be purchased a la carte, or in meal deals. No outside food or drinks are allowed in the dining area. If these options aren’t for you, the main food court in Woodfield Mall is located above Peppa Pig World of Play.

Bathrooms

There are bathrooms located at the back of the play space. Both the mens and womens restrooms have a changing table to use.

Hours

Peppa Pig World of Play is open Monday through Saturday, from 10:00am – 6:00pm and Sundays from 12:00pm – 6:00pm. Guests are not admitted after 4:00pm. These hours are current as of May 4, 2022. Check their website for holiday hours and schedule changes.

Prices

There are many ticket options for Peppa Pig World of Play. When purchasing your tickets online in advance, you’ll pay $26.99 for a parent and child combo entry. Each additional child is $15.99, and each additional adult is $5.99. 5-visit passes (for the same parent and child) can be purchased for $46.99, which already pays for itself after a second visit. For frequent visits, an annual pass can be purchased for a child, which can be valid for any day of the week or weekdays only. They also offer a “Kids Play Pass” which allows for an admission to both Peppa Pig World of Play and LEGOLAND Discovery Center within 14 days of each other. Pricing is current as of May 2022 and is subject to change.

Recommended Ages

Peppa Pig World of Play is ideal for the 2-5 year old crowd. They’re physically coordinated, interested in exploring and figuring things out, and perfect at pretend play. They’ll love to climb Rebecca Rabbit’s Underground Adventure, bike through Granddad Dog’s Garage, and slide down Peppa’s Treehouse. My 3-year old enjoyed riding on the buses, jumping in muddy puddles, and playing with puzzles. While I think this is the best age, there’s still plenty for anyone younger that’s toddling. Moving foam building blocks, climbing in and out of Peppa’s car and sliding out of George’s Fort will tire out your littlest guests. Any Peppa enthusiasts over 5 may still love the space, too, although I do feel that it’s aimed at preschool-aged children. I wouldn’t recommend this space for crawlers, as there are a lot of kids running around. I didn’t bring my 8-year old along, and feel that this was the right decision. She would have been too big for many spots, and isn’t as interested in pretend play.

Best Days/Times To Go

We visited on a non-holiday weekday, assuming it would be the quietest time. We arrived when it first opened at 10:00am, and had the whole place to ourselves. By about 11:30am, it had filled in quite a bit. Weekends and days off school are more crowded. Afternoons tend to be quieter. Something to note: re-entry is not allowed. Make sure your children are ready to stay and play for a long time before entering.

Special Needs Accommodations

There are not designated quiet areas in Peppa Pig World of Play. The whole play area has music and sound effects playing. While I wouldn’t consider it at a high volume, it is something to consider for anyone who is sensitive to noise. The attraction map has an indicator next to anything that is wheelchair accessible.
