Immersive Experiences

Hershey Super Sweet Adventure is a hands-on, immersive adventure full of interactive experiences inspired by all your favorite Hershey treats. During your visit, you’ll earn the special title of “Sweet Seeker in Training” as you discover the sweetness behind various Hershey candies. This family-friendly experience is ideal for the ages of 4 to 12, but chocolate lovers of all ages (and anyone with a sweet tooth) will enjoy the activities and challenges during the adventure.

Since they originally opened in October 2024, Hershey Super Sweet Adventure recently debuted new additions to the experience. We’re excited to share all the new details that will make your visit even sweeter.

And we are giving away a family four-pack of tickets, compliments of Hershey Super Sweet Adventure! Keep reading for all the details.

Hershey Super Sweet Adventure
Water Tower Place
835 Michigan Avenue
Chicago, IL 60611
(On the corner of of N. Michigan Ave & E. Pearson St.)

Expect to spend about an hour at this experience. You can spend as much time as you’d like doing each activity, and you can come back to ones that you enjoy most for multiple attempts. There were so many bright colors, surprise elements, and even a station to showcase your artistic side.

Limited standby tickets are sold at the door, so it is encouraged to purchase them online in advance. They do host parties onsite and are fully accessible for guests with many different disabilities and neurodiversities. If anyone in your party needs additional assistance, email info@hersheysupersweetadventure.com ahead of time, or let a team member know during your visit.

Features of Hershey Super Sweet Adventure

When you first enter the exhibit hall, each guest is invited to make their very own Hershey’s Sweet Seeker name badge. This personalized lanyard features a photo, so don’t forget to say “Hershey!” as you smile at the camera.

The rest of your time, you have the whole space to explore, which is comprised of four main zones. Some of our favorites included the Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup “Combination Station”, where you’ll take turns stuffing peanut butter balls into air-filled tunnels, launch them at a Peanut Butter Cup shaped wall, and toss them at an interactive splat screen. This whole area even smells like Peanut Butter Cups!

The Flavor Intensification Station invites you to explore the bold flavors behind Jolly Rancher candies.

At the Share Shop, you can create your own Hershey’s Kisses chocolate foil wrapper and watch it come to life on a huge, digital conveyer belt.

The Twistology Hub features the Pull ‘n’ Peel Maze inspired by untwisted Twizzlers Pull ’n’ Peels! This zone also offers a twisting tunnel called The Extruder, reminiscent of the machine that gives Twizzlers candies their twist, for a dizzying spin-filled adventure like no other. While you don’t actually twist, the visual effects can be dizzying to those sensitive to motion.

In addition to the all-new Sweet Seeker Central, where you can create your very own Sweet Seeker in Training badge, exciting new additions include an interactive splatter wall at the REESE’S Combination Station and the Ice Breakers Ad-MINT-istration, where you can “cool down” in a refreshingly fun way. And that’s just the beginning—come explore all the newly added activations waiting inside!

At the beginning of our visit, we received a few HERSHEY’S Kisses chocolates and were each able to pick out a full-size sweet treat with the Head Sweet Seeker to end our time in the experience before visiting the retail store. Open to ticketed and non-ticketed guests, the gift shop offers a variety of Hershey’s memorabilia such as games, unique Hershey’s candy items and apparel. Highlights include the opportunity for guests to create their very own customized HERSHEY’S wrapper on one of HERSHEY’S XL chocolate bars. The wrapper highlights custom artwork and can be personalized with your image, creating a unique souvenir.

Food

No outside food or drink is permitted, only sealed or reusable water bottles. If your family has allergies, we recommend asking about the goodie bags first. There are also plenty of yummy items to purchase in the gift shop.

Parking

Water Tower Place has an underground parking garage, which is convenient. Look for the signage below!
