For beer and cider fans, enjoying a local brewery is one of the easiest ways to shop local. After all, most of our local breweries are owned and run by folks who live in the nearby communities. Chicago’s suburbs are home to a variety of relaxed, kid-friendly breweries where kids can be kids and parents can enjoy a cold drink. Some locations have a full kitchen and food menu, while others let you bring your own food or order in from nearby restaurants.

We LOVE Alter Brewing in DG, but they don’t have a baby changing station, so we always have to change our baby in the back of our car. It hasn’t stopped us from bringing our kids there frequently, but it’s worth mentioning!
