The ribbon cutting for Community Center Park in Rolling Meadows is Saturday, September 27, 2025 at 9am. The park district is going to have games and a raffle for pickleball sets!
This great park was renovated to include a ninja warrior-style challenge course, fitness court, two dedicated pickleball courts, 9-hole miniature golf course, and in-ground ladder toss and bags game.
Features of Community Center Park
The new challenge course is a Burke’s ELEVATE fitness course designed for ages 5 years old and up.

For ages 14+, the new Fitness Court has a QR code which links to recommended exercises that use the equipment.

Lit pickleball courts are fenced in and dedicated to the sport. There is also a shuffleboard court outside the fence.

I’m not sure I’ve ever seen a permanent ladder toss game at a park! So that’s exciting. A kiosk will be installed near the yard games to rent equipment for a small fee. In the meantime, you can stop by the Community Center front desk.

This simple 9-hole mini golf course has a great gazebo in the middle. A kiosk is also planned to rent mini golf equipment for a nominal fee, or you can bring your own. Similarly to the lawn games, you can rent the equipment from the front desk for a small fee until the kiosk is ready.

There is also an existing fenced-in tot playground designed for ages 2-5 years old that is open to the public when not in use by their preschool and before and after school care (they reserve it between 9:50am – 1:30pm during the week).

Well done, Rolling Meadows Park District!
Community Center Park is right next to the Nelson Sports Complex with indoor ice skating all year and an outdoor pool to enjoy over the summer. It’s also directly behind the Community Center with restrooms.
