Duffapalooza ♪

The Duffs set up a music festival for the undead. Catch one of the 3 musical acts performing daily. DJ Bones is on the dancefloor, the musical stylings of the jazz duo Bone-Jangles on the lounge area, and on the main stage the Reaper Band performing nightly from 6-8pm. Kids and families are invited to walk through to take pictures! They enjoy sharing their love of Halloween with the community.

The inside of the house is just as active, with ghouls banging on the windows to be set free. The Do Not Enter sign is a literal warning, don't set foot on the grounds-you won't be leaving! Please note that this is not a walk-through display as there are a lot of wires and cords that may be a tripping risk.

A family friendly display with hand carved jack-o-lanterns, graveyard, scary movie characters, zombies, skeletons, and witches stirring their cauldron. The projection show last about 20 minutes. Handmade animatronics, projections, sounds and displays with lighting.

Evil's Nightmare Haunted Experience

We are back for another year of fear and originality, and we are so excited about it! We will be doing both the yard display and walk-thru haunted house as we have been doing for the last 13 years and encourage everyone to come check it out. The graveyard is continuing to evolve with more tombstones, lighting, props, etc. to be even more epic and worth a stop. The walk-thru haunted house will be open the weekend before and the weekend of Halloween with a new theme/concept and provide the consistent scare quality we are known for. In the meantime, the graveyard will be up for your viewing pleasure starting October 1st. We hope that you can make it back out for the walk-thru grand opening and get the full Evil's Nightmare Haunted Experience. The Welter Family Halloween House is a whole-house projected show with this years theme featuring the "This is Halloween" song from Nightmare Before Christmas. The show lasts about 4 minutes and runs every 15 minutes on the quarter hour. Parking across the street and if the weather is nice can walk and sit on the sidewalk for the best viewing. Speaker plays the music or dial in to 88.9 on your radio! Show runs Thursday-Sunday evenings 7:30-10:00 except in the case of heavy rain!

407 Wildflower Way

A spooky, but not scary home haunt with skeletons, movie killers, ghosts, and ground-breaking zombies in the graveyard. There are details throughout the haunt. In the evenings of the last full week before Halloween, weather-permitting, we put animatronics in the graveyard in addition to the props that are out all month long.

Halloween Town at The Arboretum of South Barrington

Main Street Plaza has been transformed into a spellbinding walk-through display featuring a towering 30-foot light-up castle, a spooky graveyard, vintage Halloween cars, and more. The display is free and great for fall photo ops.

Kid Friendly Halloween Display

We are a kid friendly set up with 4 different photo spots to take a photo at. These include a picture with a skeleton sitting on a bench, a witch cut out, Frankenstein cut out and a photo by our inflatables.

Voodoo on Vassar ♪

The #1 home haunted house in Schaumburg returns for one, absolute final season on Vassar. Come enjoy the legend one last time and check their social media for specialty themed nights and special acting guests from your favorite Chicagoland haunted houses! Our kid-friendly display offers a walk through with a few jump scares, plenty of easter eggs to search for from the Pirates of the Caribbean rides and films. Halloween Town

Created in 2006 by homeowner Jim Haupert, what began as a small graveyard with skeleton lights has grown into a full Halloween spectacle. Expect lights, fog, lightning, and favorite Nightmare Before Christmas characters like Jack Skellington, Sally, Zero, Lock, Shock, Barrel, and even Oogie Boogie. Wander through the spooky graveyard filled with moving props, singing pumpkins, and eerie creatures like zombies, gargoyles, and skeletons. Built with help from the Chicago Haunt Builders, this family-friendly haunt brings Halloween to life every year.

Demonground: The Hidden Haunt

Redneck Ranch

A mash up of rednecks, Dutton Ranch and Slasher horror movies. Hand built by the owners (with some help from the skeletons), you are sure to find something to tickle your morbid fancy.

Main Street Cemetery ♪

A spooky, graveyard themed haunt where an evil witch has used the sounds of the dead to summon an undead army! Also a small Jack Skellington themed pumpkin patch. Some jump scares, low gore. Some features are weather dependent, so check their Facebook page for the most up to date info.

Berman Manor

Behind the crumbling walls of Berman Manor, a forgotten graveyard stretches beneath twisted oaks and a choking mist. Faded gravestones lean at uneasy angles, their names lost to time, while lanterns flicker at night with no hand to hold them. Locals whisper of the Lady in Gray searching for her child and shadowed men pacing silently among the tombs. The great Berman crypt remains sealed, but legend says a knock will earn one in return. Step beyond the gates if you dare—the manor remembers those who enter.

Chainsaw Manor ♪

Chainsaw Manor is back, bigger and scarier than ever! Brave the fog, flickering lights, and sinister shadows while facing our newest terror: Arachnophobia’s Lair. With all-new animatronics, chilling props, and monstrous surprises, every scream helps support the NICU at Lurie Children’s Hospital.

Tadelman's Spooktacular Asylum ♪

The main thing that makes it stand out and different than most displays is that it's an interactive display. Both children and adults can activate larger and smaller animatronics by pressing buttons, clapping, and shouting. It has a huge collection of animatronics either talking characters, monsters and animals. There are hundreds of things to see and experience. It is both family friendly and scary. Each year it changes and this year there are some spectacular new things to see.

Haunted Souls Of The Unknown ♪

Dare to be our guest? Enter through our door and journey through 9 different themed rooms. Sound effects, moving props, and more! There is street parking at this haunt. They are accepting monetary and non-perishable food donations for the local food pantry.

New York City Halloween

New York CIty on Halloween with King Kong on the Empire State Building, the Statue of Liberty, the Brooklyn Bridge, and various creatures.

The Kill on Old Mill

The farm hasn’t felt right since the old pumpkin farmer vanished years ago. Overgrown fields and the nearby cemetery—long tied to strange voodoo rituals—now teem with snakes, shadows, and unsettling sounds. Farmhands have returned changed, pumpkins and insects grow unnaturally large, and flocks of birds gather undeterred by a sinister scarecrow. On the 25th anniversary of the disappearance, eerie chants echo from the crumbling mausoleum, and the cemetery seems to call to the undead. Step onto the farm if you dare—but know something dark is waiting. The full action yard display with additional scenes will be open on 10/17, 10/18, 10/24, 10/25, & 10/31.

Gandor Family Light Show ♪

Synchronized lights and music show. Halloween show in October. Pop/Rock in November. Holiday show after Thanksgiving. Every night from sunset until 10:00pm (10:30pm on Fridays and Saturdays). Just drive up, tune to 104.7 FM, and enjoy the free show!

Tall Grass Manor

Family friendly yard haunt where creatures of the night are dying to greet you. Apparitions may peek out a window looking for souls while ghosts and ghouls play in the graveyard. Rotten patch and spooky woods, what can be lurking?

Wright Manor ♪

Large Halloween display with many static and moving characters. A walk-through area and other areas to walk up and get closer to the display. Variety of themes and great photo ops! Please bring non-perishable foods for the Wauconda and Island Lake food drive; bins will be displayed at the end of the driveway.

Lights on Holiday Drive ♪

Pixel lights set to music. The music is more kid-friendly Monday through Thursday with the show Friday through Sunday with more rock, metal, and EDM songs. There are also a bunch of inflatables on the side lot.

After Hours Haunt on Route 120 ♪

Every year we turn our parking lot at After Hours Towing into an amazing Haunted walk-through! We're kid and toddler friendly on the week days. There may be a live monster or two lurking the haunted parking lot, but don't worry we want the younger generation to love Halloween! We won't spook them too bad LOL! Weekends are a different story! The live monsters are wide awake and awaiting your arrival! They want to spook you, your friends and your family! So come on out "If you Dare!"

Spirits on Sproat

Spirits on Sproat returns for its 21st season of frightful fun in 2025! This free outdoor “museum of the macabre” features 130+ life-size figures of horror icons from film, TV, literature, and urban legend — many handmade originals. Spirits on Sproat has been featured on Svengoolie, in the Chicago Tribune, and named a Hall of Fame Haunt by The Horror Tourers. Guests can try two scavenger hunts (via smartphone or provided sheets), enjoy witty character signs, creepy music and effects, light projections, and live scarers like Michael Myers and Jason Voorhees. This family-friendly display is best for ages 5+ and kids 12 and under must be with an adult. Rest assured that our live scarers will not frighten little ones or senior citizens. Please be respectful of neighbors by not blocking driveways, don’t touch figures or props, and drive carefully. The property is monitored by several video cameras and protected by a security system. Please note that the display is weather dependent and will be closed regardless on Sept. 30-Oct. 2, Oct. 6-9, and Oct. 13-16.

Sinister Cedar

Sinister Cedar is creative in its own way. On one side of our yard, you will see our graveyard which holds many creepy creatures including werewolves, jack in the box, skelly dog and more. While on the other side of our yard, you'll see the swamp where our swamp monster lives with some other creepy creatures including werewolves. Come check Sinister Cedar out and enjoy our new additions this year. We promise we don’t bite.

Gloomy Oaks Manor

This outdoor yard haunt has new installments for 2025! New features include multiple new animatronics, large buildings and facades, spider infestation, vampire castle, and the Haunted Invasion of the skeletons! Watch above your head, flying ghosts may be above you. Please note that props and animation will not be operating during rain/ high winds.

Horror on Highland

This is Horror on Highland's 11th season. All month there is a free Halloween display and on select dates they open a haunted walk through with actors, props and special effects. You can find those dates on their Facebook page.

St. Lucifer’s Garden of Souls ♪

Front yard walk thru graveyard. Many static and animated props. Great photo opps. Fog and music fill the air. Visit the Hag sisters in their witch cottage and meet Lawrence Talbot the Wolfman in his mausoleum. There is much to see! Fun for all ages. Monetary donations accepted for Oinking Acres Farm Rescue and Sanctuary.

Red Death Manor

Walk the path of Red Death Manor – a graveyard of decaying corpses, vomiting zombies, and burning ghouls. This horrifying graveyard is full of disgusting guts and evil spirits. The display goes on at 6pm nightly with special prop additions on weekends! Please note that this display has some scary props and is not recommended for young children.

Spook on Scarth

Spook on Scarth has 7 12ft or taller decorations, pumpkin patch, fog, and bubbles. All four sides of the yard are decorated and on the weekends, two projectors are also playing.

Holiday House Projections ♪

Returning mid-October 2025 and every night (weather permitting) from dark until 10:30pm, 11:30pm on weekends. This family creates multiple scenes every year for Halloween and Christmas. The homeowner creates 3D video-projected displays set to music, including singing pumpkins. The audio is broadcast over FM radio so people can watch from the safety and comfort of their car. To keep things fresh, he adds news scenes throughout the month leading up to Halloween! This year is a new "Headless Horseman" theme from the Disney movie and te "Oogie Boogie" song from "A Nightmare Before Christmas". The homeowners will be raising money in support of their daughter’s neurological disorder, called misophonia. When you are at their home, they have a text to donate option.

Count Kuhajda's Haunted House

Walk through the front and back yard of this haunted house. You'll see many animated characters, but nothing live to “spook” the younger visitors. Their creatures and tombstones are hand made! Please note that the display is closed if raining. We’ve been haunting for over 20 years and have over 1000 visitors every season.

May St. Manor

Front yard walkthrough with static and animatronic prop display. Weekends will have fog and music. Littles who may be afraid are welcome during daylight when everything is off.

Duffapalooza ♪

The Duffs set up a music festival for the undead. Catch one of the 3 musical acts performing daily. DJ Bones is on the dancefloor, the musical stylings of the jazz duo Bone-Jangles on the lounge area, and on the main stage the Reaper Band performing nightly from 6-8pm. Kids and families are invited to walk through to take pictures! They enjoy sharing their love of Halloween with the community.
