Families have been buzzing with excitement about Hyper Kidz Wheaton, and it’s finally almost here! The brand-new indoor playground will celebrate its Grand Opening on Friday, November 22, 2025, and we got an early look inside. Spoiler alert… it’s AMAZING.
This space-themed location is bursting with fun, color, and creativity at every turn. Designed by a mom, Hyper Kidz goes way beyond trampolines and inflatables. It’s a thoughtfully designed play world that encourages kids to climb, slide, imagine, and explore.

What You’ll Find at Hyper Kidz Wheaton
Mini Zone (Ages 2 and under, 30” and under)

Perfect for little ones who are just learning to climb and explore, the Mini Zone features:
- A mini slide, soft climbing structures, and a cozy honeycomb crawl area
- Two in-ground trampolines and fun rocking toys
- Mini pin screens and a foam peg board for hands-on play
- Everything is soft, padded, and built for safety
There are also soft stools with counters wrapped around the play area, which creates an easy place to sit, sip, and watch the action.
Kid Zone (Ages 2–7, 54” and under)

This section is full of motion and excitement, featuring:
- A funnel slide and three side-by-side racing slides
- Multi-level climbing structures and spinning carousels
- Interactive screen games and open visibility throughout
Like the Mini Zone, there’s counter seating around the perimeter, so grown-ups can keep an eye on the fun.
Main Play Area

The main attraction is an expansive, multi-level adventure area that’s truly jaw-dropping in scale. You’ll find:
- A cannon game in the ball pit where kids aim at a giant interactive screen
- Several twisting tube slides, tunnels, and obstacle courses
- Endless climbing routes and hidden nooks to discover

It’s the perfect space for big kids to burn energy and for siblings of different ages to play nearby.
Interactive Games

There are two spaces dedicated to interactive games: one area in the front with jumping and bouncing and another with a giant checkers or chess board, also with a screen. I wasn’t able to see them in action yet as the team was making final touches, but the spaces looked fun and intriguing.
Basketball Courts

Two basketball courts are situated towards the back of the play space for kids to shoot hoops and get active.
Birthday Party Rooms & Special Events

Hyper Kidz Wheaton has five colorful birthday party rooms, each designed for festive celebrations. Party bookings will be opening soon, so stay tuned on that so you can reserve space.
Beyond birthdays, the Wheaton location will host field trips, character visits, arts & crafts days, bubble dances, and movie nights, keeping playtime fresh and exciting year-round.
Designed With Families in Mind
Every detail of Hyper Kidz Wheaton reflects its “designed by a mom” philosophy, from the soft surfaces and sensory play to the thoughtful amenities like a dedicated lactation room and accessible restrooms. There’s a changing table in the women’s bathroom.
There is also a café area in front where you can purchase snacks and beverages. Please note that food is not allowed in the play structures.
The entire play floor is also a shoe-free zone. There are cubbies for your shoes and lockers available for $6 if you have other belongings to store while you are there.
