Indoor Play

If your group text is constantly asking, “Where should we meet this week?”, we have your answer.

Hyper Kidz Niles just opened, and it is one of the largest indoor playgrounds we’ve seen. Think multi-level climbing structures, giant ball pits, interactive games, separate age-based play zones, and enough seating for parents to actually relax and chat while kids burn energy for hours.

We were there for over two hours and the kids never slowed down.

This article is sponsored by Hyper Kidz Niles, and all opinions are my own.

What Makes It Great for a Playdate

1. It’s BIG (in a good way)

The main play structure spans at least three levels and feels like a maze of tunnels, slides, obstacle courses, climbing features, and trampolines. There are multiple entry and exit points, so younger kids may need an adult nearby, but the structure is very parent-friendly. You can climb right in and follow them.

For older kids, it’s freedom to explore.

2. Separate Age Zones = Less Stress

Hyper Kidz Niles is thoughtfully divided by height and age:

Mini Zone (0–2 years, 36” or under)
Soft play, low climbers, and space designed just for babies and toddlers.

Kid Zone (2–7 years, 54” or under)
Smaller climbing structures, ball pit with slides, and slow-moving rides like a spinning teacup and merry-go-round.

Main Play Area (Designed for ages 0–13; sweet spot 3–10)
A massive multi-level structure with giant ball pit, trampolines, slides, tunnels, and obstacle-style climbing features.

Employees were stationed at entrances to the younger areas helping monitor children coming and going, which we appreciated.

The Standout Features

  • Giant ball pit with an interactive screen wall that reacts when kids throw balls at it
  • “Foxball” game that uses a yoga-ball style controller to move characters on screen
  • Enclosed basketball court
  • Enclosed soccer field
  • Trampolines
  • Multiple obstacle-course style tunnels and climbing features

There is enough variety here that kids can bounce from zone to zone without getting bored.

Is It a Good Playdate Spot?

It’s large enough that kids can play independently and explore, but there’s plenty of seating for parents to connect, chat, and enjoy a snack in the food court. Because there are so many different zones, kids don’t have to stay together every second, but they can regroup easily.

If your kids love to run, climb, bounce, and slide, this is the kind of place where they will leave happily exhausted.

And honestly? That’s the best kind of playdate.
