I can already say that the foam party in my backyard this week is a summer highlight. All of the kids from the Kidlist team were so into it that they only took a short break for a popsicle and headed right back into the foam. Foam Party All Stars keeps the party going with a big foam cannon and all kinds of kid-friendly dance music. It was a blast! What a great idea for all occasions… birthday parties, milestone celebrations, block parties, and more.

What to Bring to a Foam Party
Foam Party All Stars gives this advice: Wear something that you don’t mind getting wet in… a bathing suit works, or just shorts and a t-shirt. Goggles are also a good idea.
The foam is primarily water and also contains ingredients found in bubbles and soap. It’s non-toxic, doesn’t damage plants, and also doesn’t sting your eyes! It felt cool to the touch and was so fun to walk through, especially on a warm day. Some of our kids wore goggles and some did not; it didn’t seem to be a big deal either way. We would recommend bringing a towel because you do get wet from the foam.
Foam Party Set Up

You need a spigot and three-prong electrical outlet within 100 feet of where you would like the foam. Foam Party All Stars brings a hose, extension cord, a speaker, and all the stuff to make foam magic. I would recommend letting your neighbors know about the party since the music can get a bit loud; it’s a foam party with a DJ all rolled into one!
Tim Carstensen, the owner of Foam Party All Stars, is such a nice guy. He has 18 years of teaching experience in the Chicago suburbs and is also a dad who clearly knows what kids like. The kids were singing and dancing to pretty much every song. Tim was dancing while he was spraying the foam too. He made it so fun. Most of their foam party leaders are teachers or education majors, which is great.
The Magic of Foam Party All Stars
Before the foam cannon starts filling the area with foam, the rules are explained (no roughhousing, eating the foam, or running in the foam) and there’s a fun countdown. We were shocked at how fast the foam builds up! It’s awesome.

The kids loved taking pictures covered in foam. They loved playing in it, dancing to the music in the foam, and watching it fly through the air. Some of the moms even got in the foam so we could see how it felt!

We had popsicles for the kids, which was a nice treat, but they spent almost the entire hour in the foam. It makes for a low-effort party full of non-stop fun for all ages!

Clean Up
I was shocked at how fast the foam disappeared. It went from about two to three feet high to nothing in less than 15 minutes! It’s was gone before Tim was done packing up. My grass looked a bit trampled right afterwards, but it bounced back quickly like grass always does after a party.
You are advised to run your sprinkler for an extra 30 minutes within a couple of hours of your foam party to fully wash away any residue left behind from the foam so as not to harm your grass. It was surprising simple with no cleanup!
