What is Juneteenth
June 14, 2023, 6:00 pm - 6:30 pm
FreeJuneteenth is considered the country’s longest-running African-American holiday, but it took 156 years for the importance of the June 19, 1865, to be officially recognized. Not until June of 2021 was Juneteenth declared a Federal Holiday by signing the Juneteenth National Independence Day Act into law. Join us for stories, crafts, and more as we learn about this national holiday.
