Get into the holiday spirit with your loved ones at the drive-in! We’ve updated our list to include the best, festive movies around town to enjoy safely cuddled up with your family from the comfort of your car. Attendance will be limited for every movie event. You’ll need to maintain social distancing (that’s at least six feet away) and use a mask if you need to leave your car.
Where to See Holiday Drive-In Movies
Enjoy a selection of classic holiday movies as well as live Christmas caroling and delicious holiday treats every day of the week in December. Some of the scheduled films include Elf, How The Grinch Stole Christmas, Polar Express, National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation and many more. Families can safely enjoy Christmas carols from their cars, as the ChiTown Carolers will be performing live before each movie over the radio. Write letters to Santa and sip free cocoa at the hot chocolate station, too. Concessions available to be delivered directly to your vehicle!
Each 1.5 hour experience features a movie amidst sparkling decor, live elves, The Grinch, Santa, Mrs. Claus, and an occasional appearance by live reindeer. Locations downtown and in Lincoln Park.
Join Santa and his elves for a festive winter wonderland drive-in experience that includes a Christmas movie viewing, free cookies and cocoa for every car, a Santa drop-off mailbox and Santa photo opportunity (masks required), holiday light and tree displays and giant inflatables of the Grinch, Rudolph and more!
This venue is now showing an assortment of entertaining and family-friendly holiday movies including Elf, Gremlins, Polar Express, The Muppet Christmas Carol, A Christmas Story to name a few. Check out their website for dates, times and tickets.
