In trying to think of fun things to do with these rainy days I came up with a Halloween craft and thought you might want to try it with your kiddos. There are many variations for this project… you can cut out the shapes from construction paper for younger kids, you can use white paper and have your kids color the pieces themselves, or you can have them cut out the pieces before assembling their witch. While gluing the pieces on the face you can talk about eyebrows, eyes, noses and mouths and as their placement on a face. You can let the kids choose what color face and hair (etc.) they think a witch would have. Those are ideas off the top of my head, but any way you do it, I’m sure it will be fun! :)
I have included templates below that you can use to make your own… Just click on the image to enlarge it, then use your browser to print each page. *Print the first sheet (face components) landscape and the rest should be printed portrait.*
As always, I love hearing about what you are doing with your kids, especially at home, so we can all pool ideas! So email me at annie@mykidlist.com and let me know what you’ve been up to.
