I recently had the chance to check out the PlayZone and Toddler Treehouse area at Wheaton Bible Church with my five year old and three year old. This indoor play area is a great for kids during the cold months and is available to guests during open hours when the campus Preschool class is not occupying the space.

Notes Before You Play
Upon arrival, enter through the main doors of the church or use the ones on the north side of the building labeled N8. As you enter, you will be greeted by their desk attendant where you will sign in and complete the registration form.
Both play areas are a shoe-free zone so be sure to wear or bring socks. They are required for all participants playing in the PlayZone area. Please note, they do not have socks available onsite. There are stools and couches in the Toddler Treehouse and chairs in the PlayZone to sit and place your belongings.
No food or drink is permitted in either play area. The play areas are very clean and tidy, and rarely experience large crowds. Children must be supervised by a guardian at all times.
Features of Toddler Treehouse
The main feature as soon as you enter the treehouse is a colorful, interactive peg light board. This board features colorful pegs for your little ones to not only play with on the board, but we used them to play a sorting game, as drumsticks, and we even used them as blocks to build a tower. We spent quite a bit of our time in the treehouse with the board and creating new activities with the pegs.

To the left of the room is a more enclosed area with several busy boards on the walls, a soft play climbing area, a treehouse, and a caterpillar tunnel. This area is perfect for babies and toddlers. It gives them ample opportunity to explore and be imaginative. The treehouse has several interactive features inside and a slide through one of the side openings. Children 5 and under are only permitted to play in this area.

This space also included two large couches for lounging and a long table with stools. It makes the perfect area for the adults to keep an eye on the kids while they chat or catch up on work while the kids play.

Features of the PlayZone
This was such a fun area for my kids because they were very excited about the towering, brightly colored play structure. They even mentioned how similar it looked to the play-place at a restaurant we frequent. It had an area for climbing, slides, tunnels, and a bus. There were cubbies for the kids to put their shoes and soft mats for jumping and safe landings.

Pricing
The play area at Wheaton Bible Church is free! There is no admission fee.
Food and Snacks
Food and drink are not permitted in the play areas. However, there are tables and chairs right outside the doors of the PlayZone where you could enjoy a snack during a play break. There is also an area right off the entrance in the lobby with tons of chairs and space to spread out for a snack or light lunch in between playing.

Bathrooms
There is a bathroom up the hallway from the play areas that is easily accessible and quite spacious.
