Where to Find STEM Classes for Kids

Classes and Camps for Kids

Does your child love to tinker, get lost in a pile of LEGOs, or take apart their toys? These interests are all related to STEM/STEAM: science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics. Kids learn critical thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork while coding a video game, designing their own invention, and having fun. It’s not just for big kids, either; some spots have activities for kids as young as two years old.

In addition to these options, check your park district or local library for drop-in classes or Makerspace areas, too!

RSM is an award-winning after-school math enrichment program trusted by parents for over 25 years across 75+ locations in North America. Our unique approach consists of a continuous kindergarten to high-school curriculum, taught by expert teachers, in a classroom environment of peers who study together year after year. K-12 students can choose from various classes to prepare them for the school year, math competition courses for additional challenges, or test prep courses.Β

Our curriculum has continually been perfected by our curriculum department over the last two decades. Featured in NPR and the Atlantic magazine as one of the key players in the β€œMath Revolution” and ranked one of the best schools in the world by the Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth, RSM helps children of all levels build a solid math foundation and develop their critical-thinking and problem-solving skills.
