We are excited to announce that Princess Party by MC is hosting an interactive Alice in Wonderland-themed Scavenger Hunt in La Grange this May! This is sure to be a special and unique event where families with children young and old can walk about downtown La Grange, solve riddles and find clues, while meeting and interacting with the Alice in Wonderland characters.
What is the Alice in Wonderland Scavenger Hunt?
Clues will be hidden at over 25 different stores and restaurants in downtown La Grange! A map listing all of the participating businesses will guide you through the town. As you follow the clues, you’ll discover little treats, such as a Mad Hatter tea party where Alice herself will be hosting her own tea party at Tate’s Old Fashioned Ice Cream Shop.
You’ll also encounter whimsical interactions with actors dressed as the Alice in Wonderland characters, including the Mad Hatter, Queen of Hearts, White Rabbit, Soldier Cards, Cheshire Cat, Alice and more!
Participating businesses will be offering Alice in Wonderland-themed specials, discounts, and menus for dining that scavenger hunt participants can enjoy.
How can my family participate?
The Alice in Wonderland Scavenger Hunt is taking place each Saturday in May: May 4, 11, 18, and 25. You can choose between the 11am and 3pm time slots on the Saturday of your choosing.
Purchase one ticket for your entire family, up to 5 people, for $45. Guests with tickets should arrive at the time slot on their ticket at Waterlemon in La Grange for their first clue. Parking is free on the street and there is also a free parking garage just South of Waterlemon if you prefer.
How long does the experience take?
This scavenger hunt is a self-guided walk-about, so you can go at your own pace. They estimate that the adventure will take anywhere from 45 minutes to 2 hours.
Are there prizes?
Although the scavenger hunt is a full experience in itself, they will also be awarding one prize for best costume, so costumes are encouraged! Also, every guest can register for entry into their Grand Prize Drawing, which is a ride on the La Grange Pet Parade Float with all the princesses and superheros from Princess Party by MC.
