New! Lufkin Park in Villa Park

Lufkin Park in Villa Park was renovated this summer! This exciting update includes a new splash pad, playground with inclusive features, ninja course, sensory garden, performance shelter, picnic shelter with permanent bathrooms, and walking paths.

We’re excited to report that the splash pad will be open through September this year, with the possibility of it also being open in October depending on the weather. Check out all of the new features of Lufkin Park!

Lufkin Park Playground

This new playground has a tall slide, extra-wide ramps, Innova Rocker, and bank of swings.

Ninja Challenge Course

The ninja course at Lufkin Park has various challenges built on turf.

Musical Instruments

There’s a large vertical xylophone and two drums to hit near the playground.

Villa Park Splash Pad

This free splash pad is open 9:00 am to 7:00 pm daily through the end of September and into October, weather dependent.

Bathrooms

There is a mens and women’s permanent restrooms with changing tables on the backside of the picnic shelter. The restrooms are open 9:00 am to 7:00 pm daily.
