The City of Aurora and RiverEdge Park are teaming up for FREE World Cup Viewing Parties beginning this week! Bring your friends, blankets, and bag chairs, and watch the action live on the jumbotrons.
RiverEdge Park Beverage Pavilions will be open with alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages available for purchase. Food trucks and the concession stand will also be open!
Viewing Party Details
The first viewing party takes place on Tuesday, June 30 for Mexico vs. Ecuador. The gates will open at 6 P.M. and the match will kickoff at 8 P.M.
The second viewing party will be on Wednesday, July 1, as the United States of America takes on Bosnia and Herzegovina. The gates will open at 5 P.M. and the match begins at 7 P.M.
The final viewing party will be on Sunday, July 19 for the Championship Match! Gates will open at 12 P.M. and kickoff will be at 2 P.M.
Entrance Gates
RiverEdge Park Gates 2 and 4 will be utilized for entry only. Gate 2 is located across from the Post Office (525 N. Broadway) and the Aurora Transportation Center North End Parking Lot. Gate 4 is located at the south end of the Park across from the train station and at the pedestrian bridge entrance. RiverEdge Park is located at 360 N. Broadway in downtown Aurora.
Food & Drink at RiverEdge Park
Beverage Pavilions will be open to purchase alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Food trucks and the concession stand will also be open. If you would like to bring your own food and water, please use coolers no larger than 12"x12"x12".
Additional Information
No alcohol, drinks of any kind except sealed water bottles, weapons, fireworks, knives, grills, pets, bicycles, skateboards, and motorized vehicles are allowed inside the Park. All water bottles must be sealed to be allowed inside the Park. Flags are allowed in the Park but cannot be attached to any kind of poles. They must be free standing.
