St. Patrick’s Day Procession and Annual Irish Flag Raising Ceremony
Join the City of Aurora in celebrating its Third Annual Sham-ROCK the Block Celebration which includes the Daniel D. Dolan St. Patrick’s Day Parade and the Irish Flag Raising Ceremony!
The parade will take place on Sunday, March 16, 2025, from 11:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. It will step off at the corner of Water Street and Downer Place, head west on Downer, and end at Downer and Stolp Avenue. The Irish Flag Raising Ceremony will occur immediately following the parade in front of the G.A.R. Museum (20 E Downer Pl) on Downer Place.
The Dolan Family will lead the City in raising the Irish Flag!
Following the event, restaurants and bars will be open throughout the Downtown area for parade-goers to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day!
