Social Emotional Learning Storytime
March 31, 11:00 am - 11:30 am
Included in general admissionTracy Patton – Once Upon Some Messy Fun will be joining us twice a month to read stories with the children that emphasize how play and social emotional learning impacts all areas of development. Social Emotional Learning (SEL) Development is the primary indicator of “school readiness” and often the most overlooked. This interactive story time will share that ALL feelings are important and how we can help families identify our emotions while giving them a variety of activities and tools to express them safely, and support young children to build their capacity for emotional regulation, and calm adults too!
